  • Controlled Manual Ampoule Sealing
    The Twin Jet Ampoule Sealer is a compact, manually operated system designed for the sealing of open-type ampoules in laboratory, R&D and small-scale pharmaceutical environments. Its twin flame design allows controlled heating of the ampoule neck prior to manual sealing.
  • Suitable for Small-Batch Applications
    This system is intended for low-volume and small-batch ampoule sealing where flexibility and operator control are required, rather than automated throughput.
  • Compatible Ampoule Range
    Designed for sealing open ampoules across a broad size range, making it suitable for a variety of laboratory and development applications.
  • Manual, Operator-Controlled Process
    Operation is fully manual. The operator places the ampoule on the height-adjustable platform so that the neck is positioned within the twin flames. The ampoule is then rotated by hand, and once the glass softens, the top is drawn off using tweezers. Continued rotation allows the softened glass to be twisted and sealed under controlled conditions.
  • Flexible Utility Requirements
    The Twin Jet Ampoule Sealer requires a suitable fuel gas supply such as propane, butane or natural gas and a compressed air source. Where compressed air is available on site, an air regulator is supplied to reduce pressure to a suitable working level. If compressed air is not available, an optional compact air pump can be supplied for connection to a standard electrical outlet.

  • What is the Twin Jet Ampoule Sealer?

    The Twin Jet Ampoule Sealer is a compact, manually operated system designed for sealing open-type ampoules. It is intended for laboratory, R&D and small-scale pharmaceutical applications where controlled, low-volume ampoule sealing is required.

  • How many ampoules can it seal per hour?

    The sealing rate depends on the operator’s technique, experience and the ampoule size being processed. As this is a fully manual system, throughput is not fixed and will vary between users.

  • Can it seal both open-type and closed-type ampoules?

    No. The Twin Jet Ampoule Sealer is designed only for sealing ampoules that are already open. It is not suitable for opening or sealing closed-type ampoules.

  • How is the sealing process performed?

    The operator places the ampoule on the height-adjustable platform so that the neck is positioned within the twin flames. The ampoule is rotated manually until the glass softens.   • What gases are required for operation?
